Senior Turnaround Planner / Scheduler
Reporting to the Manager, Comissioning & Start-Up and Turn around Management, this position is responsible for the scheduling, cost/budgeting and planning of turnaround maintenance activities.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Be responsible for developing the integrated schedule for the turnaround using P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Use analytical skills and stakeholder experience to develop optimized integrated turnaround schedules and cost estimates.
- Plan the safe shutdown of all process equipment and ensure lock out tag out procedures for all equipment are identified, executed and documented, including the safe restart of the facility.
- Ability to manage contracts from creation to execution and closure, while providing daily reports on progress.
- Ensure that all required inspections are completed, documented, and reported as required.
Your strengths include:
- 10+ years experience working as a project/ turnaround planner.
- Super User of MS Projects and P6 or Primavera software.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.
- Calgary based with the ability to travel to different sites.
