Senior Accounting Consultant
Our client in southeast Calgary is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. The successful candidate role will be involved in reporting as well as work on projects.
This is an 18-month contract role.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis including working on consolidation.
- Work on projects to make reporting more efficient and add customization.
- Be a power user with the accounting system, previous experience with MS D365 would be beneficial.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Work closely with tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns
Your strengths include: - CPA designation with 5+ years’ experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
