Sales Representative:
 
Our client is searching for a Sales Representative to join their team. This role will be responsible for growing their assigned territory.  A successful candidate will establish and maintain relationships with customers and referral sources. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations.
 
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Establish and implement marketing initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts with managed care companies, government agencies and other payers that ensure optimal reimbursement
  • Establish systems for consistent market assessment and develop a go to market plan designed to meet the company goals
  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with current and potential referral sources
  • Participate with the management team in strategic planning activities, identifying opportunities to improve services and better meet customer needs
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s markets, key referral sources, and position in the market related to competitors
  • Build and maintain relationships within the community by building effective, on-going sales opportunities with related businesses and other referral sources
  • Develop and maintain information on available community resources and assist customers and staff in accessing services or information
  • Conduct sales calls every week as per the need
  • Prepare reports of sales activities and effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure consistent messages to customers and the community
  • Answer client calls and queries through calls or emails and provide exceptional service, follow up as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of that job, like information in client and employee records, sharing of information in accordance with company policy, and protecting documents in a manner that prevents unauthorized access
  • Perform the job in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as community and professional standards
  • Assure compliance with applicable federal and provincial laws, and if applicable, accreditation standards
  • Attend meetings and educational programs as required
  • Help manage social media effectiveness by participating in marketing activities 
Your strengths include:
  • High school diploma, with post secondary education being an asset
  • Must have previous experience in healthcare management or marketing, preferably in home health care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and restriction in home health services
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
