Senior Residential Community Coordinator – Direct Path for Advancement to Residential PM!

This multi-faceted role will give you exposure to day-to-day operations, property management administration, financial overview, and community service. 
 
The ability to manage time, priorities, and to travel to 3 different sites is crucial for success. You will be given autonomy to create your own schedule and address issues as you see fit, while still having the support of a tenured team to collaborate with and weigh in on their many years of experience.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:  
  • Manage requests and assess urgency and determine and address priorities of the community 
  • Find solutions and deescalate concerns as they are presented 
  • Understand and communicate bylaws to community members when infractions occur 
  • Prepare reports for the Board, and present information and answer inquiries 
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate records 
  • Organize rent and compile meticulous records of arrears 
  • Develop plans for community members who are in arrears 
  • Assist in the decision and allocation of investments 
  • Maintain the community’s confidence with sensitive information  
Your strengths include
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication and issue de-escalation 
  • Patience with all personality types and communication levels 
  • A passion for service to your community 
  • 5+ years' combined experience in the Property Management field and/or education specific to Property Management 
  • Co-op experience and/or not for profit housing experience is a major asset 
  • Fluency in Spanish would be a great asset
