Financial Reporting Analyst Our client is searching for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial policies, as well as relevant acts and regulations. This role reports directly to the Manager of Corporate Accounting.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Create and present quarterly public disclosure and board reports
- Maintain financial dashboards
- Provide relevant financial information to stakeholders within the finance team as well as other branches
- Maintain continuous process improvements affecting financial data and policies
- Provide timely accounting information and advice to meet stakeholders needs
- Be the expert, assisting everyone in interpreting and applying various related regulations and legislation
Your strengths include: - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Working towards or holding professional accounting designation (CPA) is considered an asset
- Diploma in a related field and 5+ years experience in the field would be considered as an equivalent
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Power Query, and Power BI
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and concepts, as well as internal financial controls and requirements
