Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical accounting abilities in financial report & MD&A preparation. Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Execute hands-on preparation of the IFRS based financial statement package.
- Maintain financial statements quality control: footing, note disclosures, etc.
- Liaison with the various subsidiaries to gather inputs for deliverables.
- Prepare accounting research memos, special projects, and other tasks as required
Your strengths include: - CPA designation
- Strong technical accounting and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Public practice experience is an asset
- Ability to start quickly
