Junior Accountant Our client is searching for a Junior Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing all financial transaction, manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, inventory management and purchasing, and back deposits. A successful candidate will play a key role in the financial management of the company.
Your success is defined by your ability to: - Communicate with outside service vendors, resolve discrepancies and inquire on delivery times
- Process and amend purchase orders for outside services
- Enter new inventory items
- Review and process job costing in projects in the company ERP
- Assist with month end closing activities
- Update and maintain cashflow on a daily basis
- GL updates and reconciliation of accounts
- Data entry of invoices and managing inquiries
- Bookkeeping tasks up to preparation of statements
- Meet couriers to ensure correct deliveries are received
- Work directly with IT outsourcing contacts to resolve any issues
- Answer service calls to gather information and redirect to tech
- General office management
Your strengths include: - 2+ years of experience as a general bookkeeper
- Experience working with an ERP system is an asset
- Excellent Excel abilities
- Strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to estimate and meet deadlines in a calm manner
- Adaptability and a strong attention to detail and a high level of tolerance in an open in-office role.
