Recruitment Partners is currently seeking an AP Supervisor to join their client’s team in Calgary, AB. The role will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable function and work closely with cross-functional groups within the company. Due to high volume transactions, the individual must be capable of thriving in such environment.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable team and its related functions
Collaboratives effectively with key business stakeholders involved in the implementation process of new vendor contracts
Works with other support teams to identify process or system improvements, and support where needed in implementing strategies
Recruit and train new Accounts Payable employees, along with continuous coaching and mentorship
Develop KPIs and measure team performance
Prepares variance analysis for monthly financial reporting requirements
Problem identification and resolution of various outstanding transactions
Your strengths include:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance / Accounting functions, preferably with a large publicly listed company
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related. CPA Designation would be an asset
Working knowledge of large ERP Systems
Strong continuous improvement mindset
Strong customer service skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
