These terms of use govern your use of the website located at https://recruitmentpartners.ca/, owned and operated by Recruitment Partners Inc..

You indicate your acceptance of these terms by using any part of the Website. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms of Use, you must stop using the Website.

1. Personal Information

In order to operate and improve the Website, Recruitment Partners Inc. may monitor and record certain aspects of your use of the Website. All information collected is regulated by Recruitment Partners Inc.’s Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable Canadian laws. You authorize Recruitment Partners Inc. to collect, store, and use such information and waive any right of action in connection with the collection, storage and use of such information by Recruitment Partners Inc. or an authorized associate of Recruitment Partners Inc..

2. Use of Website

You must use the Website in a responsible manner. You must not attempt to breach or circumvent Website security (Hacking) or use the Website in connection with any Hacking activities. In addition, you must not use the Website to:

  • Breach any law, third party rights or any applicable codes or regulations;
  • Send unsolicited or unwelcome messages;
  • Mislead or deceive;
  • Post or transmit information that infringes the rights of a third party, including the right of privacy or publicity;
  • Cause the spread of a virus or another harmful object;
  • Post or transmit junk mail, “spam” or “chain letters”;

You acknowledge and agree that the Website may contain content, features, information, or technology that are protected by intellectual property laws including but not limited to: copyright, patent, trade marks and database rights. All such intellectual property rights are owned (or licensed) by Recruitment Partners Inc. and nothing in these Terms of Use transfers any of those rights to site visitors or account holders.

  • No documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;
  • No graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text;
  • No third party or end user licenses are breached; and
  • Recruitment Partners Inc.’s copyright and trademark notices appear unobscured in all copies.

 

4. Third Party Material, Linked Websites and Email Communications

You acknowledge and agree that Recruitment Partners Inc. is not responsible or liable in any way for any content or material of other account holders to which you may have access through the website (such as Professionals or other Contractors) or other third parties (such as advertisers) which site visitors may have access to through the Website.

You also agree to receive electronic mail from Recruitment Partners Inc. that may contain information about Recruitment Partners Inc., its partners and their products or services. If you do not wish to receive information about our partner offers, you will be offered the opportunity to unsubscribe from such offers. 

5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

While Recruitment Partners Inc. aims to keep the Website available 24 hours a day and free from errors, it is possible that part or all of the Website may be temporarily inaccessible or may not function properly, or the Website could contain errors, inaccuracies and omissions.

Recruitment Partners Inc. provides the Website “as is” and makes no warranties of any kind, implied or express, except as required by law. You agree that all warranties, express or implied, are excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recruitment Partners Inc. excludes all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered in connection with the use of the Website, or in connection with the inability to use this Website.

6. Latest Versions

We may vary these Terms of Use in the future. The most recent version can always be accessed at https://recruitmentpartners.ca/. Changes will not apply retrospectively but by continuing to use and accessing the Website you will be taken to have agreed to any updated Terms of Use.

7. General

If you fail to comply with these Terms of Use, and we don’t take action right away, that doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future). If it turns out that a particular part of these Terms of Use is not enforceable, this will not affect any other part.

8. Governing law and courts

The laws of Alberta, Canada govern these Terms of Use. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada in relation to any disputes or claims.

Fee Prohibition

Section 12 of the Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation prohibits an employment agency business operator from directly or indirectly demanding or collecting a fee, reward, or other compensation.

  1. from an individual who is seeking employment or from another person on that individual’s behalf,
  2. from an individual who is seeking information respecting employers seeking employees or from another person on that individual’s behalf,
  3. from an individual for securing or attempting to secure employment for the individual or providing the individual with information respecting any employer seeking employees or from another person on that individual’s behalf, or
  4. from an individual for evaluating or testing the individual or arranging for the individual to be evaluated or tested, for skills or knowledge required for employment, where the individual or employment is in Alberta, or from another person on that individual’s behalf.

 

Fraud Alert

Recruitment Partners respects your privacy and security (Privacy Policy). 

We do not ask candidates to:

  • pay any fee to work with us or to receive payment from us
  • make cash or check advancements to us or to any other third party platforms such as: mobile payment apps or digital wallet platforms, such as GCash, Skrill, Shopify, or Google Pay or request payments via cryptocurrency. 
  • cash checks from any sources or purchase any product, service, or gift cards
  • supply sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers or banking PIN numbers

 

Fee Prohibition Statement

We do not make job offers to candidates or request candidates to:

  • send applications through instant messaging services such as Telegram
  • provide any government identification numbers, such as Social Insurance Numbers, banking or payment information on any instant messaging services. 

We do not post jobs on freelance platforms, such as Fiverr or Upwork, and do not connect with job applicants through such platforms. 

  • RPI continues to be an Alberta based organization focused on roles throughout Alberta and occasionally in the US.  

If you receive any requests like the ones described above, it is likely a form of fraud. Please contact us if you think someone is using Recruitment Partners name to request this type of information.

Disclosure Statement

Our clients require business/peer/subordinate references from prospective candidates. The disclosure statement allows us to check references, which will only be done when we deem it necessary to further the placement process or to verify information that has been given to us.  Reference and salary information is always kept in the strictest, professional confidence.

In order to verify work experience RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. may contact references at any given time. This reference check may include information regarding character, work experience, general knowledge, and capabilities, as well as competency. RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. will disclose to prospective employers any employee-related information that is determined appropriate, including any personal comments, evaluations, or assessments that we may have about performance or behaviour as a future employee.  Unless being presented to prospective employers, information will be held in confidence.  Resumes, profiles, and references will not be submitted to any potential employer without prior consent or approval.
