Senior Accountant: Our client is searching for a Senior Accountant who is looking to grow their career with an expanding organization. This role will be the lead accounting position within the location reporting to the VP of Finance who is part of the corporate group. A successful candidate will be comfortable with handling varied tasks including, financial statement preparation, process implementation, working with large data sets, acting as a business partner, being a decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Be responsible for financial reporting, billings, collections and accounts payable
- Provide solid cost and inventory accounting support
- Ensure internal controls and guidelines are followed and make recommendations of perceived control weaknesses
- Be responsible for the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
- Be responsible for working with tax partners on all tax filing needs enabling timely filings
- Coordinate with outside auditors and provide needed information for the annual external audit
- Be support for payroll
- Have a full and clear understanding of all financial statements within legal entities
- Maintain department plans and meet all reporting requirements and dates
Your strengths include: - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- CPA Designation is preferred
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Must possess excellent communication skills, but verbal and written
- Follow all systems, policies, and procedures
