Sales Representative

Our Building Materials and Distribution  client is searching for a motivated Sales Representative to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be ready to join a fast-paced team and hit the ground running with this fantastic role. The candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager.

 Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Creating and maintaining existing builders’ relationships and handling cold calls to convert into new opportunities.
  • Reading Blueprints and providing estimates and product quotes as required
  • Be knowledgeable in understanding measurements and calculations to provide proper material take offs
  • Provide support to sales team
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any customer service issues.
Your strengths include:
  • Education or an acceptable level of experience in finishing carpentry and sales experience
  • Strong written and oral communications skills to communicate effectively with all levels of operation are a must
  • Self-motivated, with a high energy, and an engaging level of enthusiasm is an asset.
  • Previous experience in estimating building materials is required.
  • Knowledge of building materials, ie. Interior doors, mouldings and hardware is a must.
