Our client is searching for a Technology and Innovation Manager is responsible for providing staff leadership, direction and supervision to all team members in the Technology & Innovation Department. To drive initiatives and execute strategies that ultimately complete the overall strategic plan.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Manage and direct technical support for all aspects of client’s Windows information environment.
Research and analyze system requirements to meet client’s technology requirements and present innovative solutions.
Execute on strategic direction relevant to technology offerings of the client.
Guide the organization strategically and operationally to maintain business continuity and an innovative environment.
Engage with the membership, via the Technology Committee, and directly, to understand membership needs and propose solutions.
Research, coordinate and manage operating hardware/software upgrades.
Serve as liaison to Tech Committee, provide information and expertise and execute all assignments.
Manage the entire security of all systems.
Produce reports from Paragon platform for the membership.
Oversee maintenance and service of Paragon platform.
Professionally manage all escalated complaints regarding technology from any departments.
Facilitate IT needs for all departments, membership and external stakeholders.
Provide technical input to education department for training and development.
Manage external vendors.
Establish data agreements to securely license the data assets.
Hire and train department staff and manage and develop staff.
Create and manage budget for department and work in cooperation and conjunction with Management team.
Your strengths include:
Post Secondary Degree or Certification in Computing Science and/or Physics, Mathematics or Systems Administration.
7+ years of related experience.
High knowledge of industry software, application design and hardware.
Strong leadership skills, innovation, exceptional technical and computer program skills, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, professional and assertive personality.
Ability to work under pressure, sense of urgency, ability to create constructive solutions to organizational challenges, high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to manage conflict, ability to influence others and empowerment and delegation skills.
