Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Act as an ambassador of the organization
Be in charge of the full cycle recruitment; from role creation through to onboarding
Review and assess candidate resumes and conduct interviews with candidates
Participate in employee selection meetings by assessing and advising leadership on candidate’s suitability for available positions
Conduct reference and background checks
Collaborate with the infrastructure team for account provisioning, asset tracking, and equipment sign-out procedures
Through a comprehensive job-intake process create and maintain company job descriptions
Manage third party recruitment sites and vendor relationships to ensure consistent employer branding across all channels and effective use of site campaigns to recruit talent
Collaborate with the marketing team to utilize other social media streams to convey employer branding and attract top talent
Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges and other recruiting channels
Create and maintain company specific training and on-boarding material for new hires
Continually assess and improve hiring practices to ensure efficient and inclusive practices are used
Your strengths include:
Minimum 5+ years in Technology Recruitment
Knowledge of all full life-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing candidate skills
A depth of knowledge in recruiting for technology roles, including fluency in understanding industry jargon, skill sets and assessing candidate skill sets as it relates to technical job functions
Familiar with federal, provincial, and state employment standards, human rights, and employment legislation
Experience in international recruitment for both LMIA and LMIA exempt positions
Tech savvy with high proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams).
