Regional Controller (Temp to Perm) Our client is on the search for a Regional Controller to join their team! Reporting to Controller and CFO, the Regional Controller will handle the full cycle accounting of the company’s Greater Edmonton Area operations. Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Lead the full cycle accounting process and prepare the financial statements/management reporting of the region’s entities
- Prepare regional budgets, strategic plans and cost estimates
- Interpret and review financial and operational results with the Regional Vice President and report on variances
- Co-ordinate, advise on and review legal documentation with respect to asset sales/transfers, financing agreements, etc
- Ensure that accurate and timely records are maintained that conform to ASPE
Your strengths include: - CPA designation is required
- Self starting hands-on personality
- Strong technical accounting and Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in real estate/construction/land development is a major asset
- Ability to start quickly
