Our well-established advertising and media client is searching for a driven Business Development Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting new opportunities and broker their successful implementation. The successful candidate will have a high energy with a passion for success.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Identify and pursue target customers and develop strategies to acquire and maintain their business
Develop and maintain sales driven targets
Successfully achieve KPI’s as set by the company
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Liaise between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing, and new products
Promote and ensure consistency of company through marketing, media, and promotion
Market intelligence on new products, services, & procedures
Your strengths include:
2+ years’ experience in a sales/business development role with a demonstrated track record of sales success
Experience in media sales and previous connections with businesses across Canada is a plus
Experience using a good sales process, including diligent CRM use
The ability to demonstrate leadership and ownership
Excellent communication skills are a must including experience presenting to clients at a variety of levels
Ability to work in a team setting and autonomously
Post-secondary degree or diploma University degree in relevant field
Competent numeracy, problem solving, judgement, decision making, organization, time management and negotiation skills.
Valid passport and ability and willingness to travel within Canada
